I would give them the information showing how long SFI has been in business. Show them the website and all the different ways to make money. Bring them to Tripleclicks and the auctions and they should be able to see that this is a legit business. Also, SFI doesn't make you promises of getting rich quick nor do they ask for money upfront. Ask them to just follow the instructions for one month and learn the lessons before they make a full decision. That will give them time to see all of the support and options SFI has to offer.
