The best advice will be to ensure that he / she follow the SFI Basics and follow the training material with regards to sponsoring, sales, etc. If every single affiliate sees and understand the Three-Step-Plan, will it be necessary to ask this question?
On the other hand if everything goes according to plan, will it still be a challenge?
I had a conversation with somebody earlier wrt an offline business. The person tried some business, but it didn't work out. I've asked her whether she feels that she put in everything to make it a successful business.
I've learned that you have to satisfy yourself to commit your business. You may convince the person, but he / she will in the end give up on her / himself. John Maxwell mentioned that people quit people not a business or company. I feel that I end up giving up on myself too easily i.e. they quit themselves and not somebody else. The reason is the "What if ... I've wasted my time..., I've wasted money ..., etc. There is the myths of MLM.
I had a good affiliate. She did well for herself, but was not or could not afford to invest money. Her marketing took too long even though I included her in a co-op without asking her to reimburse me.
In the end my motivational letters and convincing didn't help. I had to convince myself quite a few times. When I started I've earned $2.3 dollars. I first asked myself is that worth it after everything I've done? I immediately changed my approach and said: If I didn't do anything, I would not have earned that much. The months after that it just increased.
What I am saying is that we as sponsors must be positive and without convincing we'll become a motivation unto others. Don't give up on yourself or anybody else.
