This is a good question. My answer is from personal experience. My sponsor quit before I joined SFI. I joined based on an ad that had set up for persons looking for for part-time work to supplement their income-exactly what I was looking for.
My first few days were spent reading. I read that I had to "stay above the green line", so stay above it I did. I had no one to explain how to obtain the first badge "Fast Track", so regrettably, missed out on this. But I persevered, from day to day, reading, learning, following through on assigned tasks. I did have questions for my co-sponsor, but this individual had started the same day I did, so we were both in the learning mode together, and therefore much of what I did was based on my own commitment to my individual success.
Luckily, I had previously been part of a management team of a "brick and mortar" business, so understood upfront, that successful businesses take time to build and to grow to success. I was not looking for a get rich quick scheme (also had my share of those...(ha ha).
I love the quote "If it's to be, it's up to me!" and have adhered to this along the way. I chose a2a friendships from reading successful affiliates "tips for success". I added SFI News to my browser so that I could readily access all information posted, and fervently read all information in the Forum. I created a scrap book of ASK SC questions, and copy and print any answers I feel would be helpful both to myself, and my team members.
Sponsors may be un-responsive, but that is not an excuse to GIVE UP on your dreams. Why not make it a challenge to succeed in spite of? You really don't have to go it alone...there is plenty of help available everywhere. Just tap into it! Flip side of the coin? Sponsors reach out, but also get no response! It has happened to me several times.
