I kind of compare a sponsor to training wheels on a bicycle. They help you get started and give you support until you are able to move on your own.
A good sponsor is nice to have and maybe will help get your business going in the right direction. That being said, you can move ahead on your own without a sponsor. My sponsor dropped out after I was in SFI for a month. I learned to ride a bicycle without depending on training wheels. Maybe it took a little longer to be successful at riding but I was able to do it. And now it doesn't matter that I didn't have training wheels because the end result is the same and maybe better.
I am building a successful SFI business without a sponsor's help. I have an excellent co-sponsor who is great at answering questions. You never should feel alone with SFI.
SFI provides excellent training. If you will take the time to learn and do your daily login exercises you will have a great background in business building. I particularly enjoy the Internet Income Course. This will be invaluable to you as you progress in building your business.
