A non-conformist answer again, as usual. This question sounds almost like:
- How can you be sure you spouse does not cheat on you?
Not a really wise question, right?
You either trust her/him and do not bother, or you don't and you part in peace without quarreling, proving or convincing.
Same here: either your spouse trusts you and you do not have to convince, or she/he does not and perhaps you have problems with each other far exceeding the frames of SFI.
All in all: if you have to convince, you are in trouble whatever you want to prove and no matter how. So just do SFI from your own budget. If your spouse is interested, you should inform her/him, but no discussions - it is your business at this stage, not her/his.
You can discuss how if she/he wants to do it too. But that is another matter.
