My personal experience with this was at first my sponsor either did not send me any messages or truth be told I may have ignored them. What got me going was a letter from my co-sponsor and then another from an upline member. These sparked my interest and got me working.
I then sent a personal message to my sponsor and she replied to me, the fact that she is in the same country as I am, so I get a reply when I am online started conversations with her and now whenever I need something I send her a mail.
I now have my own team, and I hope that I am a good sponsor / co-sponsor to them I try to make sure that each week I send them a Genenology mail which is informative and lets them know what is going on and I hope that this will spark their interest as well.
Admittedly no-one replies to me so I worry that I am not doing the job properly.
