While good and exemplary leadership in any organization and business is a big plus please take heed that your success does not necessarily depend on your sponsor. I personally am a testimony to that. I felt like an orphan left alone but you know what? Challenge and controversy is very good. It helps you grow and over come obstacles.
HOW DID I OVERCOME IT
1. An Honest Rating of my sponsor
I put this as first because if your sponsor was deliberately ignoring your call for help then it might be a good idea to wake him up a little bit by giving your honest rating of him. It also helps you determine whether you can get help from him/her or look else where. This woke him up a little but for a while.
2. Reach Out to Your Up line
If your sponsor has completely failed to comply chances are you still have a good up line or cosponsor that is willing to help out. I had thought my up line would be the last person to reach out to for help because he was a PTL but I was wrong. He actually gave me his Skype I.D and I had the longest Skype call discussing about ECA tips and how to make it fast. I am so grateful to him
3. Make good use of your Successful A2A friends
Without a shadow of a doubt many of my a2a friends have been VERY VERY supportive. I wish I could put them to the spot light here but I guess policy does not allow it. When I was lost with a bunch of questions overwhelming me, these wonderful friends from a2a came to the rescue and I will forever be grateful to them for their support
4. Make use of the Forum
That's right! It took me a while to get to the forum but once I did after a2a friends suggested. My oh my! I am not just hooked but have learned so so much from the Forum. Someone in the forum once said that the BEST sponsor is the Forum and I could never agree any less.
5. Make Use of SFI success tools. Resources such as success has rules-follow them, the training area, Ask sc etc
The benefits are HUGE! Please remember that leaders are readers. I know so because I see it. All the guys whose success I have studied over time have been very successful because there's always something that they know about that you don't. Information is knowledge and knowledge is POWER and power can bring sweet success indeed
6. Make MEANINGFUL use of Support
I could never over emphasize the Importance of good support in any organization. One of the best support desks I have come across online is the SFI support. These guys are so incredible. Their support is impeccable and I can testify to that. There's not a single issue or question that I submitted that was not addressed. So make MEANINGFUL use of the support desk. Please ask questions that you know only support can address.
7. This last Option is not recommended but if you think you REALLY MUST then you can alternatively opt out of SFI for six months then come back and sign up under a sponsor of your own choosing. You would have to write to your current sponsor first and ask him/her to release you. I almost did that BUT I am so glad I didn't. My most valuable asset is TIME and I am not gonna waste it because my sponsor is not helping. The little money I have invested in the business already would have gone to waste had I opted out. I am GLAD I stayed and I AM NO QUITTER.
