This is a good question because it requires much consideration. It may
stir up much controversy. Let me explain why.
First of all, what do you mean by "life partner"?
1. A legal business "life partnership??
2. A traditional "till death do us part" marriage relationship?
3. A "common law" male and female relationship with no marriage vows?
4. A "homosexual" legalized marriage male or female same sex partners?
Various answers might be necessary depending on your meaning of "life partner".
Secondly, it seems that you are trying to convince your "life partner" of the
"prudency" of investing in YOUR SFI business. In any of the above partnerships,
they should have both decided the wisdom of investing in SFI as a business.
However, if you were already an SFI affiliate prior to the existence of this
"life partner" relationship, then the new partner should accept any decision
you made to invest YOUR money prior to the arriving at this "life partner decision.
But, if you are trying to convince this new "life partner" to invest HER money
in YOUR SFI business, I would question the wisdom of doing that. Your life
partnership might indeed be short lived. Too many plans of mice and men often
go astray and with it, the life partner. Without any reflection on whether SFI
is a wise or worthy investment, if the life partner needs convincing, I would
say no. Let her read the material you have at your disposal. If she decides
against it, she won't have you to blame and your own success will one day
justify your own decision of time and money--your own.
If you mean to have her invest in her own affiliate position, and thus be investing in yours, be careful about the SFI rule of having a one person limitation per single Address. I assume "life partners" means you would be living together at the same address.
