There were times when I can say that I became discouraged with SFI and internet marketing in general. The biggest problem was that I was focused on the negative side of things.
I recruited affiliates who never did anything, I didn't make any sales, and these things were bringing discouragement to me. I took a step back from my business and re-evaluated things.
Realizing that I was focusing on the negative side of things, I began to change my mindset. I began to focus on the POSITIVE side of things. I began to work with those on my Team who were serious about SFI and their own internet business.
I also never forgot one of the biggest things I learned through SFI. And that is to "NEVER GIVE UP!" I've also read that the only way to fail is to quit.
After taking some time to re-evaluate things, I realized I needed a long term strategy and plan. I developed my plan after careful thinking. I would no longer focus on the negative, only the positive, and realized that it is ATTITUDE that will help me.
I began to focus on what my talents, strengths, and passions in life were. Then I began to utilize these in my business. Running your own business requires a lot of determination, hard work, and a never give up attitude.
And most of all, I will never forget all of Mr. Gery Carson's words of wisdom through all the years I have been with SFI. His words and the attitude with which he runs SFI is remarkable. I've also read that if you want what someone has, then do what they did to get it.
After all of this re-evaluation, I just KNEW I could do it and since then have NEVER GIVEN UP. I've changed my attitudes and my thinking. I always look on the bright side of things and stay focused on continuing to develop my business. The things I do today will bring me results tomorrow, that's the only way it can happen.
If you do nothing, you will get nothing. If you do something, as little as it may be, you will have results. Build on those results every day. Work on your thinking and realize that you CAN DO THIS. Be smart about your business, don't get overemotional.
Remember, that even though you may have a bad day, tomorrow can always be better, and most times it is. "This too shall pass."
Stay motivated, stay committed, work hard, and most important, NEVER GIVE UP!
