I think it is better to sell things that are not involve in huge shipping charges. As sometimes affiliates' concern is how much they need to pay. This is especially when the cost of shipping is more or less the same or more than the price of the products. If this happen, then the affiliate will not consider to make the purchase. UNLESS the seller is willing to absorb half or all of the shipping charges if the buyer purchase more than certain amount of purchases within an invoice.
Personally I would prefer to sell things that are not so expensive as the market is more wide thus more people are afford to buy. Besides, shipping expensive items will involve higher charges as it need to cover by insure against losses.
