I'm just a beginner when it comes to referring ECAs, but here's my experience.
Everybody focuses on WIIFM (What's in it for me factor), so I show them that I know what problems they face and how Tripleclicks solves them - namely, some people already 'sold' things without getting the money in the end. With Tripleclicks, it cannot happen. Also, advertising is expensive, and this is the way to advertise for free, worldwide! With affiliates (who somebody else pays!!) selling YOUR products.
The program is about giving you a chance to sell to markets you wouldn't normally reach. And the fact that e-commerce is in its infancy, means you might be among the first!
This is what you say, trying to get them to see the possibilities. And if they know you, you can also share your personal experience if you are an ECA owner.
