My grandfather used to say: "You can take on force something, but you can never give on force anything". So when I receive a new affiliate, I send him wellcome letter, I send him another letter with all the necessary informations to make his start in SFI as easier as it can be. I give him my mail, my fb and skype, so he can contact me. And if he doesn't, I stop trying. I send him weekly team mails as long as he is in my genealogy. But nothing special. I concentrate to work with the workers. If I see even minor interest by someone - I do my best to help, otherwise, I don't waste my time, it is precious. Remember the fourth rule of success, Work with the workers.
