One of they ways i believe is through constant communications via email through genealogy you can see envelop written "send individual email" use it or phone calls.
Keep on giving him hope,
Assisting him regularly through words of encouragements and do transfer him TCredits when necessary.
Let him know that you are there for him, He should feel free to reach you anytime.
