I am still very new to SFI and still finding my way among all the information and training available. I have not yet signed up PSA's but have been awarded CSA's.
I have diligently sent mails to each of these CSA's via the genealogy mailing system every week - with absolutely no response from even one of them as yet.
People in general have different natures - also with regards to communication with others. Among your friends and associates you will also have those people who willingly and spontaneously converse and communicate and others who enjoy your interest but show little interest back.
If it is not in your nature or part of your character, it will be difficult to change that. One can only encourage your affiliates by contacting them on a regular basis without an expectation of receiving a response. You might be rewarded with a response in time, but your own perseverance and tenacity concerning this matter will determine if and when you get a response.
My own sponsor (whom I suspect is no longer actively involved in SFI) has not once contacted me in any way. I sometimes feel very lonely in SFI as a result, but I am determined to succeed irrespective of this. I will continue to contact my affiliates, whether they are personally sponsored by me or have been allocated to me as a co-sponsor. I never know beforehand when I spark something to warrant a response from one of them.
