I consider it the most effective advertising medium because you can get wide exposure through multiple mediums like Pay-per-click, banner advertising, traffic exchanges etc. You can also find bloggers with similar interests in affiliate marketing, work from home opportunities etc, and sponsor their blog. They will place your banner and hopefully generate a lot of traffic to your SFI gateway.

Free Advertising

Many opts for free advertising methods to save money. I agree that the free methods works well but they are very slow in terms of traffic generation and bringing leads to your business. Time or money, you choose.
Some methods works better than others. for example, Article Marketing has been one of the best and most effective method for free advertising. You can submit articles to top article directories which allows you to include a short text ad and your link below each article.
Some other less effective free advertising methods are : Classified ads, Manual Traffic Exchanges, safelists, etc.
