The importance of MRP which means "Member Rewards Points" can be explained to your PSA as follows:
MRP is like Versapoints, points that we need to reached our desired rank in SFI, like EA, EA2 and so on. MRP can also be used to buy some Tripleclicks product, and most importantly for me, if I have MRP I can purchase TCredits with the equivalent Versapoints to reached my target rank.
Example: If you have 126 MRP you can purchase 1 TCredit, and you will have 102 Vp by that purchased so MRP is important. That is my point.
