It benefits you because your success is tied directly to the success of your downline. As a sponsor you want to keep your affiliates active and motivated. When I have extra credits available I like to give some to PSA's/CSA's that become EA or Team Leader to reward them.
Also, if an affiliate is close to advancing in rank but is struggling, I will transfer some TCredits to help them out. They can always bid in auctions with them, gain MRP, and use the MRP to make a purchase and gain some extra VP's.
Everyone can use a little help every once in a while and everyone likes to be recognized for doing a good job. Helping your team helps you out in the long run as your downline will remain active and duplicate what you do.
