It's good to view MRP like you do money because you can use it to buy things on TripleClicks. Just as when you have a coupon it can be spent on the item indicated at it's face value. MRP works the same and each TC product shows an MRP value so once you have enough MRP for a product you want you can use it for your purchase.
You can also look at it like getting cash back on your purchases. As you buy more items you get more MRP so you get some of your money back not as money, but as MRP which can be spent just like you would use money on TripleClicks.
Sometimes if you are running low on cash and you find something you really want to buy your MRP can be used if you have enough. I've ran into this myself and by using the MRP I was able to buy more TCredits that I wanted.
