Creating your own website or blog is highly recommended, even by SFI. Why you ask? Because it distinguish you from all the other SFI gateways out there promoting the same product(s).

Of coarse you will be placing some of your SFI banner ads on your site as well, that could lead to sign ups and sales at your TripleClicks URL.
I advise my down-line to get their own domain name, like example(yourname.com) and have that domain redirected to your sfi gateway(http://www.sfimg.com/xxxxxxxxx)by your domain host when you advertise it. The reason for this is because a lot of the social sites and web advertisers will reject a lot of SFI (GateWays/xxxxxxxx) because they consider it spamming(everyone in SFI have the same URL except for the numbers).
