As infants, we keep trying over and over again until we walk. We can't comprehend yet the idea that something can't be done. We want to walk so badly that we just keep trying, falling, trying, falling, until finally we find ourselves walking, then running.
Over the years we get bombarded with negative thoughts and teasing and hearing the word "No"
Eventually, we give up and start accepting less of ourselves. Until we realize that we do have the ability to succeed again we beat ourselves down.
Enjoy smaller successes first, have fun crawling and soon you will be walking again, then running. It's inside all of us, we only need to realize that it's not the rest of the world that causes our failures, it's mostly our attitude.
We all get down, feel rejected, hopeless from time to time. But we also have great power in our minds and our bodies. Part of sales is rejection. Don't hate it, love it. Consider it a challenge to be overcome. Know you won't win over everyone, but those you do will prove that you are more than you thought you were.
Mr or Ms Smith, I can understand your feelings and I must admit I felt as you do many times. However, I found that this business has allowed me to grow in many ways and I would be very happy to see you earning with SFI like I am. Always leave the door open to the future, don't continue talking. Talking too much just makes it much worse. Show your confidence in the business and go about your day. Trust me you will feel much better for handling the situation with integrity and honesty.
