It all depends on our personality. In general, when I feel deeply about something and people start talking badly about it I feel hurt. But, we have to understand that the people are scared of different scams and fraud that they have seen.
First, I think, you should not feel bad when you are rejected.
Second, you should do the best you can in this job so when the people see how successful you are, they will change their opinion and stop rejecting you as they will try to follow you on your path to success.
I think we all need some time to become more successful and people will follow, until then just don't feel hurt and follow your dream.
