Jesus put it this way. He said that whoever received Him received the One who sent Him, and whoever rejected Him rejected the One who sent Him.
When a person rejects this, he is not rejecting you. He is rejecting the idea or the concept. So you smile and try to understand and pray and walk on and keep telling others, just as you talk about your faith to others. Just know that there will be those who will be gems in this and will receive.
Please, by all means, be kind and friendly to people, no matter what they decide. It never works to show unkindness or to try to force or coerce a person into anything. It only hurts relationships and the people involved, including yourself.
