It depends on many factors. I believe that having a good sponsor is important, but not so much. The most important part is affiliate itself.
Some affiliates succeed just in weeks because they work hard and are ready to invest some money in SFI even if they don't get invested money back in first months. They read and learn every day about SFI and don't hesitate to put their knowledge in use when promoting SFI and TripleClicks on the internet. Usually they have good sponsors which help and motivate them. But, I think sponsors are not decisive fastors in SFI. Yes, they can help you a lot if they want to and know how, but it is up to you to do the main part.
On the other hand, some people need more time to achive success in SFI. We aren't all internet experts, some of us probably started using internet or even a computer for the first time just because of this great work from home opportunity. It's normal for them to need more time to understand this business. They will slowly build their teams, but sucess will eventually come for them too.
So, it's all up to the affiliate. The more one works and wants to be successful in this job, sooner he/she will be.
