There are so many articles about goal setting that looking up those will help you. I use the smart goal system by making sure I set specific, measurable, actionable, realistic and time specific goals. I do this in my business and personal life.
However on my SFI business I take another step in the goal setting process. I look at where I stand among all other affiliates. I look at my specifications and say where do I want to be on the leader boards so I make that number. For instance if I'm at position 1000 what can I do to move up to 950?
I base everything on what I know I can do and what is reachable - there is no sense setting yourself up for failure. If you know you can sponsor one person make your goal to sponsor two. Saying you can sponsor 10 is unrealistic and you are setting up for failure.
But by making it a small challenge you continue\e to grow then next month you may make it 3 or 4...with SFI I have found that it's baby steps not leaps that will make you successful.
