Setting goals is a bit tricky, especially if you've not had to do that kind of thing before, but there are a few simple guidelines which can help you out
1. A goal should not be impossible, you will feel that nobody ever achieved the impossible, so what is the point trying
2. A goal should not be too easy, if you are going to hit a goal anyway you are not going to push hard to attain it
3. Set goals to further your business in appropriate ways
In my case for example, I have no capital to invest, this is a situation many people face.
Every month I have a goal to bring in customers, and I will keep that goal there until I have achieved it, and probably after that as well
Bringing in customers will provide me with some capital and allow me to progress
4. Regularly review you goals, print them out stick them on your wall, look at them and ask yourself what have I done today to achieve these goals
Other goals should include
- Advertising
- Training
- Communication
- Time Management
