Hmm; First of all, one must inquire what is being referred to when the word SUPPORT is put to use.
Are you denoting the provision of financial support or that of reassurance or proper support?
Secondly, if it is financial then to what extent of financial support may be necessary and or excessive.
• If a person needs much financial support then they essentially must to grow up and get an income, go deliver a pizza or something, then return and assist their self here.
• However if the person is a few dollars short for a car payment then perhaps it would be in their best interest to receive some friendly assistance from their sponsor or boss or manager so they can get to work and better their self.
I believe in helping out a fellow human being but not to the extent of supporting the world from my meager wallet. Can I buy you a cup of coffee?
If on the other hand the need for support is for encouragement, I say give them all you can or all they can handle. Always bear in mind and remember that you can only lead a horse to water, the horse has to do the drinking.
