The best form of support one can provide is actually not financial support. Financial support can actually work against you unless it's used in a manner where you are sure that your affiliate has gone all out and is truly in need of this type of support. If you buy their way to EA, they will not take it seriously unless they have truly gone all out. They will become a crutch that will inevitably break.
Financial support is always one of incentive or reward. However, you will be quite surprised how powerful motivation and inspirational support is to your downline, as well, and the key points here are:
*Be consistent in your approach:
Whether it is daily team emails with quotes of motivation or weekly inspiring communications of stories of other members on the team whom are successful and started in the same boat, consistently send them, communicate words of encouragement, state with authority that quitting not an option. These are powerful methods and people whom are serious will take you seriously.
*Persistent in your delivery - passion is a powerful trait. Persistence in motivational boosts to your downline is key to your success. You can't be half in and half out. You have to lead by example and authority. If you waver and they don't hear from you for weeks then you reappear, it's will not be is as affective as they will be less apt to believe you are sincere.
*Focused on key affiliates and areas to provide support. Your downline members are all unique. Communication is essential to supporting them. If you listen to them and and ask questions that bring out pain points and why they are here, many will be inspired by success of others and your efforts of success and if they see you are moving along and growing, they will duplicate your efforts and that does not have come across as financial support. Show them how to be a success on a shoe string budget. SFI members do this today and have been for years.
Financial support will become an option at some point for you if you are successful yourself. And if you can be successful starting with no money to the point where you can provide financial downline support, you have just created an inspiring story of your own that you can and should leverage to your team to show how they can do it if you can.
