I used to own a corner store in a college town. It was an established, though declining, business when we bought t or $10,000. We refurbished it for $2,000 and restocked it for $8,000. We worked daily from 6am to 9pm. (I also had another job to pay our household bills.) We could not afford help, so it was just me and my husband. It was almost a year later that we made our first profit of $200. We thoroughly enjoyed the business and the personal relationships we built with the customers and area vendors. It was fun - all consuming, exhausting fun!
I started SFI three months ago for free, and invest $100/month on advertising and supplies. I work 15 - 25 hours a week, whatever part of the day is most convenient for me. I have not yet made a profit, but I have gotten some compensation every month. I thoroughly enjoy he relationships I am building with my team and a2a friends. AND IT'S FUN!
Both businesses inspired and excited me, but SFI gives me that same feeling without causing me to be exhausted and deeply in debt. I like that better!!!
