What's the difference between being an SFI affiliate and having a traditional business, and which is better?

If I have to answer a question like this, I would say, "Let us do a comparison".

T = Traditional, brick and mortar business, 10 hours per day for the first year.
SFI = Affiliate program using computer and internet connection, 2 hours per day.

Customer base: T = Local population in one country. SFI = World, 150 countries.

Items to sell: T = 100 - 200 +/-. SFI = 98,000

Start up cost: T = $100,000+ SFI = Less than $200 per month.
