Lot's of communication with your downline. especially with your 1st Generation. these are the people who are building the team.
Also I try not to call it my downline or even my Team. It is always "our team". I don't want newer affiliates thinking they have to look upwards to see the top. I want them to feel that they are always an equal part of the team.
Engage with new affiliates to make them feel welcome. Don't make them feel that this is just another "get rich quick scheme" where only the people at the top make any money. This has to feel like an extended family. Be there for them even if it's not related to SFI.
Be supportive even if they haven't been real active. This can make all the difference in getting them active again.
In short...this isn't my downline or my team...it's my family.
