There are ways you can swallow this $10 into your budget.
1) drop your electricity bill: turn all your powerpoints off when they're not in use; watch tv with the lights off; watch less tv; close your curtains earlier to conserve heat & postpone heater use; fix dripping taps
2) drop your petrol bill: restrict your vehicle use - get everything done in the one trip; walk/cycle/catch the bus or train; ride a horse/camel/donkey/elephant
3) drop your food bill: eat cheaper food - e.g. veges instead of meat, or sausages instead of lamb, or rice/pasta instead of potatoes; eat less takeouts/McDs; make your own lunch instead of buying it; have porridge in the morning
4) party less: drink less alcohol, smoke less, socialise less and/or differently
