Having been in advertising for more than 10 years, I've learned that people who give you a negative response, usually don't understand what you are doing or trying to show them.
It's hard to be rejected and many of your friends and family will probably not understand.
My advise is to talk to them, if they aren't interested, just walk away with a smile.
When you start becoming successful, you can go back to show them your website, your new car, or your bank account. They'll become more interested then.
Don't get discouraged and never quit! Always remember that your present situation is not your final destination. The best is yet to come!
