Hi,
First of all the business card will represent you then the business you want to promote. This means how you want to be seen by the people you give your business
card. In everyway it has to be designed according to the "good taste" rules.
I use myself to give different kinds of cards according to the people I meet and want
to advertise my business. For my friends and family I have prepared merry cards with some jokes.
For people I meet for the first time I give my elegant business cards only with the necessary information, not too much, just the essential information in it.
For the young people I have prepared simple business cards with only the basic information but with a little catch in it and cheerful colours.
I should not prepare big quantities of one kind, but any time I am targeting a group of people I should customize my sample to this group.
Even some of my cards I print at home on my printer.
