Great question and I hope I have a simple answer! :) The best way to respond is to NOT respond and as far as path moving forward - stay on the same path! Just continue pointing out the advantages and the opportunity that SFI provides.
Some will scoff and be negative. But some will accept what you are saying.
For me, it is the same way when I share my faith. You can never force someone to believe in something - all you can do is share it. I feel a duty to share my faith with others, though not all will accept it. Those that don't, I "shake the dust off my feet" and move on to the next. It is the same with SFI - not all will accept it. But some will.
Don't doubt yourself or what you are promoting - just continue to do it and support the ones who show an interest...
