What I find to be the most effective, are sites that offer a social element.
Sites that offer a mix of advertising, banners, text, website, chat and a branding element that allows people viewing your links, to get to know who you are and what you are offering them.
When someone connects with you, you must follow up with that person, build trust and demonstrate that you are worthy of their time.
People are very cautious these days, and rightly so. Building a relationship with a potential customer is a must do. Show your face, place a post, be there and the sale will follow.
