The objective of advertising is to promote a product and the consumer uses the product. A satisfied consumer also tells to others about the product.
There is no dilemma between Free advertising and Paid advertising. One has to decide where to start with.
If the funds are low it is better to use free advertising. After finding new resources it is better to start paid advertising.
Then if the budget allows start with paid advertising. Based on the results it is better to take up free advertising.
In my opinion free or paid advertising are two sides of the same coin. So it is better to use both methods to reap good results.
