Very good question and the answer is...as many as you possibly can! You are building a business. If you limit your time...you will surely limit your success. You might work 2 hours 1 day, but the next day you might have to put in 4 hours...or 8, etc.
With so many things to do in order to have a successful business, your concerns should be on building the foundation of your team and securing your position. There is advertising to do. There is learning to do. There is building to do. There are affiliates to tend to. The list goes on and on. I personally wake up to my business, work at it any opportunity I get throughout the day (I work 2 other jobs) and I finish my night by working until the early morning hours on my SFI business. I really have no idea how many hours I devote. To me...it's a non-factor. Just do as much as possible.
I hope I helped you a bit, and didn't scare you. But the truth is...you need to work, work, and work some more. Do that and you will reap the rewards.
