I personally believe that SFI is built around the "smaller, but coaching" theory and I'll tell you why. The SFI model is simple enough that if you are to get a small group of PSA's and help them achieve greatness, they will continue to grow and "duplicate" themselves. While they are duplicating themselves, you are continually growing your level 1's, giving them EVERYTHING they need to succeed.
I am NOT suggesting for you to stop building your level 1's and increasing in number, what I am saying is that if you TOTALLY give attention to your level 1 down-line and feed them and nurture them and care for them, you will reap bountiful harvests - guaranteed.
As far as your sponsoring new affiliates - I believe that you should still continue to sponsor new affiliates, but you AREN'T looking for volume this time, you are looking for GREAT quality. If you can keep between 10-20 good, working PSA 1's, you should continually be successful.
