In approaching family and friends it is a warm market in that they already know like and trust us. Would we simply scam them for a quick get rich "scheme"? No of course not. So their acceptance is more likely. How best to use this? Mention online internet opportunity and most people think scam and turn away no matter how valid our opportunity. Better to focus on the benefits we have discovered for ourselves and share our excitement at how we can.....e.g. find local ECA stores that ship products we would want to buy in our own countries without high shipping costs from other countries. In UK for example if we import a product costing over $25 then we would find an extra cost of not simply the shipping charge in the original invoice but a surcharge for VAT on any amount over $25 value which would be collected by the UK postal system at an admin charge of £8. Hence a $25 item from ECA would actually cost UK buyers about $40+.
Family and friends wouldn't want to buy simply to large amounts on shipping. Better to show how our country based ECA stores can shipping in our own countries at reasonable prices in ECA stores so truly making TripleClicks our first online store for online purchases at beneficial prices especially as we now have LocalPay system in more and more countries.
