From my experience, friends and family are the last persons that will get in Your team.
And that is not just for SFI, but for the most of opportunities they don't understand.
In their eyes You are at first their friend or relative, and when You start to talk about some opportunity, they don't hear You. Totally different would be if even total stranger tell them about the same thing.
The best way to approach them is to make Your work real, so they can feel it and they will then ask You what You are doing and if they may join You.
So don't waste Your time and go out and make it work.
