Why do we set goals?

-We set goals (professional or personal), because we want ourselves to reach that particular stage in a specified time frame.

We also set Goals in SMART way, i.e Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Time Bounded. So in short Setting goals, whether for SFI or for any other purpose is a must. We all strive to be successful and this is the answer to your question.
