In all honesty I have never tried to use the direct gateway addresses using Google Adwords. I do not think that I would bother because the chances are that they would reject your ads based on their linking policies. May I suggest an alternative method?
It may be wiser to create your own personal blog or website and advertise that address. You then have control over what you want to say and can be more personal about the business to your site visitors. You can then link to your gateways from your blog/website.
You will also be able to split test on what is working and what is not working for your signups. Create different pages on your blog/website and advertise each page in different campaigns.
Having your own blog or website also allows you to network with others to gain more exposure to your SFI links.
I would also like to point out that there are more and cheaper advertising alternatives than Google Adwords. Do a search and look for 'Home Business PPC advertising' or 'affiliate ppc advertising' and you will find quite a few.
