I've used Skype and Facebook video chat to help affiliates with training.
I think it's a very beneficial method to help affiliates and to build business relationships with your team. It lets new affiliates know you are a *real* person making *real* money. It also lets them know you are there to help them.
I think it's important to nurture relationships with your team, and having face-to-face conversations is an effective way to let your team members know you care about their story and their success.
And, of course, their success is your success. :)
