I find that in this economic climate where there is not a lot of ready cash, or business is slow, persons are more reluctant to part with their money.
The other reasoning they submit is they don't trust these types of businesses themselves and therefore do not instill confidence when speaking to prospective persons. If you are not making money it would be difficult to encourage someone to join.
If you are using a credit card to do online payments you may be reluctant to do multiple transactions if you do not trust your bank etc.
Time is also a important factor. People always say to me I don't have time for sitting at the computer, or they don't like to read. There is lots of reading to be done. Perhaps some of the important information could be in audio form.(Suggestion!)
