Definitely, the initial contact with a prospect is more important than the follow-up, why?
1.The initial contact is the main issue as I believe. We are trying to provide a prospect who is reliable, has no intention to quit, believes in the idea of this business, likes teamwork process, has the spirit of helpfulness and the challenge to confront any difficulties.
2.However the follow-up is very important, it is always depending on the presence of the initial contact, then it is actually less important. On the other hand, it is none sense to make a good effort to bring an ideal initial contact, and then to neglect the follow-up which is the important factor to keep such a fine selection !
As an abstract, although the initial contact is more important as it is the origin, the follow-up is mandatory to avoid losing it.
