What's more important--the initial contact with a prospect or the follow-up, and why?

The initial contact then a follow-up, why? For various reasons:

1. The initial contact gives you the opportunity to introduce yourself to your affiliates whether they be PSa’s or CSA’s. The key here is to maintain a relationship with the affiliate's and the initial introduction in welcoming them to your Team is the first step to establish this relationship.
