What's more important--the initial contact with a prospect or the follow-up, and why?

Both are important. If there is no a proper starting point, how can you expect to have a positive feedback? On the other hand, you should cherish already established contacts, and it is primary. I think that's the key - or does not exist, because the relationship of sponsors and affiliates, is one interaction that is initiated by the sponsor, based on the reactions of PSA. There needs to be mutual feedback, and can not be regarded separately.
