The first advice I give to any new team member is to take things slowly.
You will probably be excited when you join, you will probably be very keen to get started earning money. That's perfectly normal, and it's wonderful to hear from a new PSA who's bursting with enthusiasm for building their business, and wants to learn everything at once. But there's way too much to take in at once, and trying to can give you a major headache. (I know - I gave myself the headache, but fortunately, I wasn't put off!)
The first thing I recommend to new team members is to work slowly through the to-do list. Take the time to look at every page, and make sure you take in the information there. Once you find that you're skipping over things and not absorbing it, go and do something else for a while. If you get tired, close the SFI website, and come back to it tomorrow.
Once you've worked through all the one-off actions on the to-do list (getting started and some of the intermediate actions), you're ready to start working through LaunchPad. Having learnt from my experience, I've made a point of reading one LaunchPad lesson a day, as they're meant to be read, and usually going back to re-read the previous day's lesson as well. While you're re-reading, it's a good idea to go to your VP ledger and re-read the articles in the intermediate actions list as well.
If you're taking your time, all of that should take about a month, and by the end of the month, you should have a good, basic grounding on what SFI is about, and what you need to do to succeed. If you're not sure about anything, go back and re-read and re-read again until it sinks in. Then you're ready to move on to more advanced training, such as the Internet Income Course.
SFI is big, and it is complex, but it doesn't need to be overwhelming. Just take it one piece at a time.
