This is something I like to point out to my new affiliates. Dont discount offline advertising. It still works very well for finding people looking at the internet as a source of income or a place to sell stuff.

But there are other tools I've invested in. Vistaprint does a very good design your own business card deal which I've used and also they do other things like magnetic signs, pens, mouse pads and even design your own t-shirts. I've used that one as well and wear it on many outings where I'm sure it will get noticed such as markets. I've found these tools have worked best for me.
Always make sure you have cards on you for those moments when someone will ask "what do you do for a living ?". All you have to simply say is I'm an affiliate marketer ... you should take a look ... its a big online opportunity ... and hand them a card.
