I think benefit is getting extra VP for using the different mailers. I will receive 30 VP for weekly emails I wrote to them. Meanwhile my sponsor will receive 5 VP per member reassigned.
There are so many variables that effect the response of those who have signed up but are inactive, so it is good policy to never,ever give up on them. You have to give extra effort to wake them up hoping that one day they will start working for our common goal.
Any improved activity of the Re-assigned affiliates, benefits both you and your Sponsor.

For example, I had 30 people non-active in the team, and i was sending mails to them and look miracle, five of them was returned to SFI and start working :)
